Like many homes of this area, the hallway is tight and dark doorways made it look even smaller. We couldn’t even get a good angle for photos!
We replaced 11 very dated doors (which the homeowner managed to sell on Facebook) with contemporary white 3-panel doors and wider trim on the outsides. In addition, we replaced all the floor molding with taller decorative molding and gave it all a nice coat of white paint. The difference is astounding and their entire living space now has a much more open feel.
