Mark just walked out of our house for the last time after finishing our full basement finish. I’m here to tell you that hiring him was the best decision we could have made! + He guided us through every set of the process, presenting many options and stepping up with suggestions for everything from overall design of the space down to the access door that covers our circuit board. + He knew our budget upfront and never swayed from it. There were no “hidden fees,” no surprises, no pressure to upgrade. When he shopped and he found things on sale, he excitedly would present the option, letting us know it was now “in our price range.” + He presented clear timelines and expectations, and often surpassed both. + Mark and his son were pretty much just a general joy to be around. We liked having them here. Every subcontractor he brought into our house was respectful, timely, friendly, thorough, and detailed. + He finished the job in 5.5 weeks. Less than six weeks (!) for drywall, an egress window, plumbing, electric, flooring, finishes. Someone was working every single day, making sure we were moving forward on this job. Heartland Remodeling LLC came highly recommended by friends and family, and, within minutes, it was easy to see why. The caliber of work — from the blueprint to the clean up — was absolutely extraordinary. They are the bar we will measure anyone against from here on out. (Although we likely would just hire them again and again, for any job.)

Basement Finishing
Mark and his team were fantastic to work with and did an outstanding job on our kitchen remodel! The final product surpassed our expectations and we couldn't be more pleased with how it all turned out. They were always on time, professional, courteous and very thorough in their work. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is impressive and their prices are very reasonable. We had to make some adjustments to the design due to the crown moulding on our main floor, and Mark's idea for trim pieces to connect everything was absolutely perfect and added an extra special element to the design. This was my first contractor project and needless to say, it was a great experience and I will be using Heartland Remodeling again for future projects! I highly recommend them to anyone considering a home remodel!

Heartland Remodeling LLC finished our basement about five years ago. The crew did such a wonderful job that we have used Heartland exclusively for any home projects. Since first hiring Heartland to refinish our basement in our home in St. Charles County, we have moved to Joplin. We continue to use Heartland Remodeling LLC for all of our home improvement projects despite the slight increase in transportation costs. Mark repaired a ceiling leak in our kitchen. We had two other companies prior to Heartland "repair" our leak, but the problem always returned. Mark found the problem in just a few minutes, and we have not had any leaks since then. Very reasonably priced and the work was completed in very short order.
